Hi guys..I open this post in order to know better the Marelli Multijet.
To begin we will start with a 70hp, then we will look at the 75 and the 90's (very similar).
The attached file ? a Lancia Ypsilon 1.3 multijet 70cv, of course.
To begin, let's start with the maps in the ecm shows us, trying to explain the meaning and conversion factors.
To begin, we analyze the maps pedal calls from the ecm TORQUE LIMITER 2
these two maps are precisely the dw of the map and express request of the couple:
x=rpm (here are actual rpm, without the need of factor conv)
y=percentage of gas pedal (factor 0.0004)
z=torque required (factor 0.023438)
from this map and the following handles the request torque is made to the engine, the nuances? ? that there are points in the negative, unfortunately I disconosco the reason.
I f? very pleased, Mario, talk about this ecu, in particular, I've always wanted to learn more so evvero that I wanted to open I a tread similar maybe even the ecu gasoline saw that the sconosco almost totally, but I think that I would not have had the success that get you.... anyway, congratulations... and I'm listening with the ears well open.
for the study in if I think that, in marelli use any illegal substance because for me, these maps must be read to the contrary of that? not from left to right, but vice versa....? then the areas of the negative that way for me gets a totally different meaning....

Thanks for the confidence ahhahaha:D
anyway, for the points in the negative, I had a thousand ideas: neutralize the first part of the pedal at high rpm, or facilitate the return to a minimum precisely at high rpm...but...I am skeptical..do you have some other idea?ah..I agree on the topic of drugs;)
if you read the map, starting from the right you will notice that it has the classic shape of a map of the pedal edc16 with requests to pair very high in areas of low rpm and % of pedal, which must then be gradually climb to the increase of both factors in the axis....
those areas in the negative until I watched them in the wrong direction, I thought that they were "areas of cutt-off" but I now believe that to be a fix already? active in the map on the pedal itself...what?...the ecu through the areas in the negative autocorregge the DW and the equipment? torque when it is below a certain threshold...
just for the sake of completeness of info maps pedal are 8x16...
then each curve (8) ? relative to the % of the pedal...
the 16 steps instead of every turn are related to the Rpm...
but for me, they are the opposite of how ecm them represents...
where we read, "100% load and 5700 rpm" to me there should be 13% load and 85rpm..

Hello, let us start, therefore, the torque limiter(2) as he calls it ecm ? a torque limiter effective but bens? the case of the maps fuel temperature function air injection ( f(t.air))with a map similar, while immediately after you find the jelly injection correction in function of air temperature (injection correction f(t.air)), on the driver of the 70cv ecm you takes them as protectors, but are not. the number two (2) next to the written torque limiter is to indicate that there are two maps in the main map and similar..
wrong backgroop....
those indicated by Mario are just maps pedal....
that I know of in the marelli does not c'? no map diesel depending on the temp the air and its correction...
the map that ecm's called torque limiter*2 in reality ? a torque limiter as a function of engine temp...

So..***** and I said the maps pedal are requiring torque in nm...and as noted by munro and rpm increases, the same percentage of pedal, the demand decreases...so this map should be read to the contrary..
that is, the third line corresponds to 10% of the pedal, the various columns, however, are read from right to left...i.e. the low speed to the right, the high rpm on the left...

Hello mariodarkblue the negative points you should not touch them; you have to work a lot on the split and the pair carefully to get the best results on these engines

I must give credit to Mario in this tread before you would like to understand the various maps are what they are and how to interpret....
then maybe eventually you can? also discuss which mod is better than another and why?......
at this time we are discussing about what are actually maps pedal......

The negative points must not be touched, precisely why? are not values increase, you may have problems of recovery and limitation turns on the accelerator etc.....

Sure, that address??
the map ends at 06FFFF in 8-bit....
or if you want to 06FFFE 16-bit.....
your address is not ? this..if then we seek 009886 we end up in that part of the map dedicated to the sw.....
The negative points must not be touched, precisely why? are not values increase, you may have problems of recovery and limitation turns on the accelerator etc.....
sorry Infinit infin..right for capirci...ma if you say that the pedal map st? on the other hand because if you touch the negative points in maps that are not pedal maps you can? have recovr o or rev limitation??
vabb? I wrote a p? in a hurry but I think he understood.... if you do not ? the map of pedal because by touching the points in the negative you have problems limiting revs on the accelerator??

Munro negative points if they are not touched anything does not mean that in order to act on the map the pedal you have to touch them try to make a map, even if you maybe yourself, you realize diquanto I told you

Maps foot pedal, and are those of the second screen in the first screen of munro ce n'? only a...
I have not posted screen... however if you look at the maps in winols you realize that you do not have maps of the pedal, but the sw calls engine injection protection in F t cool....
and as a p? English I think I know it means protection injection engine as a function of engine temp(coolant)
then, and a torque limiter or a fuel injection diesel fuel, call it what you like as a function of engine temp.....
c'? also another limiter diesel-torque as a function of temp diesel....
the map of screen backgroop on the ecm of the Gp 75hp ? always map the pedal that I and Mario continiuamo to say that they are those of the screen posted by Mario....
however, if you wish to remove doubts about what you call the maps pedal....just that in the axis where you think you see the percentage of pedal you convert the value in the axis 0,004 the conversion factor just to see the correct percentage and see what jumps out.....
if the accounts do not return... return to convert the same value to 0.5, and magically you will see the temperature in the axis....

Guys you must excuse Me but I correct myself, tonight by examining well the Damos I realized that I have the wrong map, the map the pedal and what you say, I am convinced why? uploading the file to a point 75hp on ecm gave me also maps diesel, I rimangio all that I said in the earlier posting the complete map and the conversion methods;
on the X-axis we have the turns as gi? said by you, displayed in real without applying conversions
on the y-axis we have the pedal Position % filtered with a conversion value of 0,004000
on the z-axis we have N*m ( cio? the couple that referred to the map TrqPropReqTOff ) conversion value 0,023438
the maps are the main and the similar as the knobs on the pedal are 2 (main and secondary)
for me it's not ? nothing happened...quiet backgroop...the most important thing ? agree on the particolait? this ecu....
because gi? ? a p? tricky of his.....

hahahha okkk don't worry...luckily..the hell!!there I was losing the view:D
Anyway, why? there are those points in the negative? to "neutralize" the first % of the pedal at high speed?to favour the return to a minimum at high speed?
Backgroop
04-11-2013, 22:08
This is the map in question, as is represented in the damos:
5948
This and 3d:
5949
the values do not need to be read in contrast to the negative points, as it claims Munro serve to make a kind of cut-off in the release phase, I noticed that changing the drive remains slightly accelerated after a sgassata at full load
mariodarkblue
04-11-2013, 22:15
exactly...so..here is need to encourage the return to a minimum...but, so? for example, at 4500 rpm, not the avr? the request for the first couple of % of the pedal...
very strange the fact that the maps pedal is not read to the contrary...
from the link sportknight, it is evident that both the torque limiters classic that the timing inj is read to the contrary...
therefore, logically speaking ? looking at the shape of the map from right to left, the shape is very similar to a DW of a edc16c......
to address the negative points...in the screen of the winols read: pedal position %(percentage) filtered/Nm...
I rest the idea that ? a correction in the map on its output....i.e. if, for example, the last break point ? 256nm(random numbers)
the ecu interpolates or better subtracts the negative value to a positive value for a correction....

Judging from the first appearance it seems that both cos?, but according to me comes into play well as the speed? of the car, in fact on the map says:
conversion method (Eng. Speed proc. - Copy of rpmf for TB task ,pedal Position % filtered)/ N*m
Murno you are right and I am confused why? it seemed to me your avatar...
okay...it happens.....:)

the map in question is located at the address 064A02 ? the map size 10x16 it is a limiter torque as a function of water temperature
on the x-axis we have the rpm rmp expressed in real value, without applying conversions
on the y-axis we have the water temperature expressed in degrees celsius degC or C? with a conversion value of 0,500000
on the z-axis we have the pair expressed in N*m, the conversion value of 0,023438

before I go any further I would like to reflect on the egr map(so you can dissect all the maps known), and the relative switch-off to disable all the controls and related DTC...
the url 067C4A found "switch" with the decimal value of 14252 to "turn off" everything just bring that value to 47506...
the map the egr is located at the address 067CAC ? a 16x16 in X-axis there are the rpm on the Y axis and the Z I are unknown...

the y-axis indicates the QI ( also called the map Qmain ) measured in mm3/str conversion factor 0,002930

pity we can't see the attachments would also be useful to me to study this type of ecu....
Ok for the limiter rail, but there must be some other thing. While raising the "ladder", not salt the maximum pressure, in addition to the 1480 bar, it's enough if you stay with the pmpa rail ori, but they are not enough if you want to go further with the processing. If you took the pump 90, turn 1600bar quietly of the series, but I couldn't get there.
I browsed through both files to compare, 75, and 90, and c'? a bit different, that in the 75 ? set to 775, and in the 90 to 900, it seems to me...Tried to edit, you can climb for a moment the pressure, and then turn off the machine for damage....

The removal of the dpf does not ? a simple thing and it changes from map to map and version to version, once you get the hand you is easy
but you have made, the variation of the famous bit?
I did not understand what would be the bit, xk? do you say that ? in the area of the map Rail, and a screen posted by the good Backgroop, in my corresponds exactly to that of the 90 (1600 series), and then c'? some other thing....

put 900 ?
But what are we talking about? The first one of the map rail, which in the 75 is going to 755, and 90 is 900?
Made the test, and as soon as I arrive at 4000 rpm it cuts the recovery...

just what, strange it should work...
but from diagnosis to how many bars arrivals?
Wait, you up the pressure by changing that bit?
And to me why? heck cut then?
Several times, I can read for seconds, 1500, and then cut...
Tomorrow I try again!

hello, I have a map with the addresses on which we have studied, such as an address limiter prex rail I see 4 addresses(4 bits), pu? be here the key to the reading? or it can be 4 bits from mod to move qst blessed pressure? how do I check there?? I have tried with the conversion factor, but or do not know to use, or is not...
you have to provrla.
If you do not have the avettura available, you can? try to look up addresses in a map that you have to try and do a log on the march....

sorry for the off-topic:
premising that in qst forum there are qst rules, then those who want to stay there, I know that no one has asked me my opinion? here, it seems to me that he is running that there are the "top" leaving "workers" to slam into the head, then when you get to something concrete you move the result in offlimits, seeing often the person who has contributed in the section offlimits, be deleted from the section.

I Found the bit that limits the pressure rail on the 70cv!!
search the ESA strings 00e1 0226 00af 0307
00e1 = Rail Press. Gov. - zR06: Rail pressure reference lower bound
0226 = Rail Press. Gov. - zR06: Rail pressure reference upper bound
00af = Rail Press. Gov. - Rail pressure gradient upper limitation
0307 = Rail Press. Gov. - PrailRef maximum limitation value
our bit ? 0307 converted to decimal 775 for the conversion value 2,000000 x (Eprom), Offset -100
result 775 x 2 = 1550 - 100 = 1450 bar

To change the limiter that source ? set at 5500 rpm and to increase the rpm minimum to proceed in the following way:
To move the limiter:
Search in the ESA the string 157C 02EE the search return? the two results, the bit that interests us ? 157C
that decimal has a value of 5500 rpm
To move the rpm minimum:
Search in the ESA the string 157C 02EE the search return? the two results, the bit that interests us ? 02EE
that decimal has a value of 750 rpm
157c = AFM1:maximum engine rpm (cond.attivazione)
02EE = AFM1:minimum Threshold engine rpm (cond.attivazione)
Attention! the bits are available for editing at the pair and then two for the limiter, and two for the rpm minimum

Updating the break point to the value of the limitation you get the classic shot to the limiter as gasoline engines ;)
Back, are you sure? If you look at the edge of the 69, prior to the injection, you will find two curves that stop to 6000 and a single bit that stops at 6000....
From them you get the shot.
In 75, the first two are to climb, one arrives at the 5100 and 5200...and the bit ? always 6000....
