Done on a Grand Point with Marelli MJD6F without problems. I don't know that the ECU mounts to the Combo, enter the data in the ecu and maybe the file ORI and something more I can tell you. Otherwise it waits for answers from someone who has done it other times.
1,6 Mjet with Marelli?? they were years behind, apparentlyI have seen only with EDC16 & 17..

The 1600 does not fit marelli but bosch as said above
