normally a 2.0 with the egr open you maf values between 280-300 mg with egr closed values rise of between 400 and 500 mg....

you gi? that said...for the way of closing the egr your maf reads more....
if you try to re-open the egr the maf aligns itself more or less to the "nominal air"...
if not then you would rightly re-open the egr you can moddare in the ecu all the objective map maf:lambda,lim fumes on the basis of maf,sensor linearization,corrections,etc......
or even you could also just disable the P-code in the object so that the box most of the discover.....
