If your ecu is edc16c8 you don't have the swirl, if edc16c39 yes

if it has the manifold with the plastic you don't see because they are under, if we look at it from the battery side under the manifold you'll see the group scooter, but to take it apart you need to remove the intake manifold, which is not easy.

The 90% that the range of cars is edc16c39 and disable it from the ecu you can make it safely, the physical removal involves the removal of the dtc, I assume..
Since you are a newbie it is useless to attach images, but you'll find them quietly looking for "alpha gt swirl" under images and see how it is done from the outside so that you recognize to view.
For the disassembly agrees that you sail on ******** or similar to see step by step the steps.

You should always physically delete the swirl because they may come off by the vibrations: I did delete the palette and trim the trees, so to have 8 holes beautiful free on the manifold. Then I deleted from the map as has been described in this discussion and it's all OK!!!! You will walk more relaxed with the knowledge that the engine is most likely damaged because of the detachment of those palette from hell!!!!
Hello, I have a 147 1.9 jtdm 150cv 16v, unfortunately I had the misfortune of a breakage of the swirl, I was done the work of removal, but do not know if they have been removed from the map, I would like to know how I can verify since I have the file of my ecu, unfortunately I can not read the guide not having enough messages.
In any case, still known as a most delayed response of up to 2800 rpm approximately, and then they will get a boost from those rides up! According to you is due to them? I also have the egr removed, and flanged, look your opinions, greetings, MCDJ90
I would like to know the statistics of rupture swirl on 2.4 jtdm 20v. Also to know if the manifold of such an engine is more robust as compared to the 1.9 on my 159 I deleted immediately the egr and dpf cleared in the map of the swirl. However, I would not like there were still possibilities out of the door. The car has only 91000 km
