    on my alfa 147 2006 the mechanic has removed the swirl, and I did cut off the axes on which they were punched butterflies, so that the lower part acts as a cap ( the mechanic did not deem it necessary to thread to put 4 pins, although I would have preferred that). Then I wrote the map I posted and diagnosis of the entry " butterfly valve flow" and fixed on the 5% even if I accelerate. While if I send the command through the actuators test instead, the value ranges from 5% to approximately 95%. So I assume that now the gears are locked and used only by the cap! However, even if I go to a p? off topic, eliminating the swirl and the 2 catalytic converters, the car goes very well, so that you lose on the low!!! Accelerator pi? sensitive and response ir? immediate. Only a p? of noise? accented why? at a minimum, the collectors are now more? open, and a bit of engine braking in the least, but imperceptible. Motor? also emphasized is given by the catalysts emptied. According to me better to put the stainless steel tubes. The council to delete these butterflies before crying an engine that maybe it was perfect before that you would aspire to the swirl!!!

    hello all, I also captain a lot of machines with the problem of the butterflies, especially the fiat group from time to time ? an undertaking to remove the manifold and do the plugs, but what is pi? difficult ? to digest the hours of work to the customer for 4 caps. :-)
    I wanted to ask you a question I hope it's not silly, has anyone checked to see if disabling it in the map, the motor remains open but neutral, or can you? move? with the pressure may make contrast on the motor and close them?

    Hello all, I have a croma 1.9 150 hp 2008, purchased used in 2012, about a year after the purchase, I heard a rumoraccio in acceleration with the relative loss of power and no light, after a few minutes the machine is back to behaving like always, after two years due to laziness at low speeds, difficulty in resume and tugging at the altitude of 1800-2200 I decided to remove the manifold (plastic) and what did I discover? And gone and the swril of the third cylinder, what would you recommend for me? Elimimino the swril remaining or purchase a new manifold????
    Help Help!!!!

    delete the other, do a cleaning for the manifolds, throttle, map sensor, and close l egr. you've been more than lucky people have seriously damaged the cylinder head and the sky of the pistons with the swirl

    Then, first of all thanks a lot for the answers you have been very fast, then having to choose between a collector new (350€) or a revised without swirl (150-200€), I opted to eliminate the three remaining valves from my manifold, I ripped the valves from their pivot, paraded the pins, I threaded the hole with a male 6 is closed the hole with a screw, and plenty of brake threads, I removed the plastic bushings on which rotate the pins to avoid that slipped from going into the engine, all seasoned with a cleaning of the manifold was full of so much crap that I can't understand how face-to-operate, so that calculations of fluid dynamics!!!

    remove the swirl , now a has been chewed , I hope there are no damages , you remove the swirl from the ecu , and it compensates for the geometry of the turbo and the map is a hair

    Today I closed and everything is tested the camera, nothing special, I do not seem to be improving, but even worse, at this point should I see who go to remap the ecu so as to recover what has been lost and maybe disable Swirl egr and dpf, what do you say, do you know who I can turn between Milan and Lodi??

    I have deleted only the blades without removing the pins, so I wasn't forced even to plug the holes of the pins

    I preferred to remove all the pins to avoid any kind of breaking, you know what is not there can not break, and then by the external pins began to be a foots so I hope I have eliminated the problem with the bloccacuscinetti that I used as bloccafiletti.
    I noticed another issue that the manifold is plastic, as the engine works it clogs up the attack of the egr on the manifold, leaving ****** a step restricted to the gas exhaust being concentrated only in a point on the manifold, they tend to melt, in short, in fiat to solve a problem they created another.
    Cinqueturbo I have recommended the manifold 147 €3 you have to if the code of the spare parts that I can't find it around??
