    Speedometer audi

The measurement of the speed? ? precise in a perfect way.
For? in the everyday life? the highway I'd rather have the usual 5-6% of margin in excess in order to avoid fines.
It is an editable parameter in any ecu?
    Thanks.

Hello Mauri196, can I ask which Audi are you talking about? I have had the opportunity long ago to check the speedometer, you own a Audi and, on average, gave me a average deviation of speed? equal to about 10Km/h...
From the tests made, 130Km/h speedometer and traveled instead to 120Km/h in real life! Setting the buzzer of the limiter of speed? 130Km/h, this sounds when the speedometer marks 140Km/h that correspond to 130Km/h the real...
Let me know, please, model and year, you've got me intrigued.

However, if editable, I think you face with the VAG from the instrument panel

    Hi Bart.
    You are right ? a A8 4.2 tdi 2007.
130 exact measured with external gps, the speedometer shows 129.
Margin of error is practically zero.
Fines to take ? too easy, I'd rather have a 5/6% margin .....

Then on the A8 ? very precise! On the A4 c'? instead a lot of margin! Even (perhaps) too...

However, it should be possible to: test with Vag! The change that you are looking for, it may be possible by changing the last digit of the soft coding module 17 Intruments.
The only drawback ? that changing the precision of the speed?, you probably also alters the accuracy of the speedo, and then the distance traveled...
Then, I would recommend you leave everything com'?: knowing that ? very precise, you can just travel slightly below the limits imposed...
