    How to connect the ecu to the tour with mpps

    From a hint received from m999, the user of this forum, I understood that ? can be realized a harness to read the ecu to the bank using the mpps, in particular, spoke of ECU marelli, I don't know if you can do it also for other ECU!
    Intrigued by the system, I would like to try it, I also in the construction of this harness. I ? seemed to understand that I need a port to obd female, the one that usually sits in the car, then the avr? also need the wiring harness from the plug on the ECU? Or ? you can do it with wires? What do you recommend?
    Finally, where can I find the pinout of the ecu and the provisions of the wires that I have to recover from the odb?

    I use the adapter cable vag kkl

    it has a obd female and two plugs on the black ( + and -), the white line ( K and L)

    Do cos?, find the two connectors of a control unit car IAW 59AF or IAW59F (also from a scrap car). Of these you only need just one (can't remember if ? the one on the motor side or the passenger side......are slightly different because of the grooves, to prevent reverse). Buy an adapter three-pin type Fiat, which has the OBD connector from the other side of the attack and the power supply + and -. With the pinout (wiring diagram) of the 59H-5AM-59M, which you find on the web, locate the pin on the connector 59F (? equal to that of the ducati motorcycle); 2 are positive, the K-line, and two or three negative (for negative you can also connect to the ground the casing/heatsink).
    One of the positives would be the framework that serves to disconnect the power (we put a switch on/off); another switch should prepare for the shutdown of the entire unit when plugging/unplugging.
    Then feeds all with a stabilized power supply, better if under the group of continuity? and work comfortably at home.

    I took two of the ecu, the obd inside the car and the connector 4-pin fiat.

    I also downloaded the Pinout of the iaw5am!
    I would like to start ricavarmi from the connector, with the tester, the wires needed for connection.

    Now, in order to avoid making a mess, I ask your help!

    also I did it with cable kkl and wires you need the wiring diagrams and you can do with the faston...only thing I don't understand how to start in boot mode it what is it

    The procedure of the bootmode you can find it in the tools that you use and need for recovery of the data of the controller.
