let's start from the control unit....the hitachi series, to my way of seeing things ? totally inadequate to handle a supercharged engine...especially because of the maf ? calibrated for naturally aspirated and, consequently, on a turbo v? easily overflow....provided that you can adapt this ecu to the engine and properly manage the minimum and the transients without boost with this ecu can? happen perhaps that in acceleration the mass air flow sensor goes in "sovvraflusso" and, consequently, you have smagrimenti and therefore you find yourself with a nice hole in a piston....so my advice ? of maybe a bet on an ecu piggy back, type the unichip Q to interface to your ecu the original...
now let's talk about the mechanics...and here according to me your ideas are unclear....not ? you take a crowd any the attacks of a motor any and all acts as to the perfection....there are several things to review....first of all, the compression ratio depending on what you want to do the engine build and that grant and cavalry you want to get...
according to me if you just need a 200-220 hp with a compression ratio of geometric 8.8:1 and with a garrett t28 derived from the fiat coupe 2.0 20valvole,from which you may also cannibalize the exhaust manifold that with simple adaptations mounts without problems.... medium-pressure turbo(0,7-0,8 bar) you should have a nice engine ready in the lower part and extends fairly high...
provided for? that review the timing of the engine...I recommend you to delete the variable valve timing on the intake and mount a couple of cams to suit a turbo since the stock cam are not at all suitable for such a purpose...
of course, then we would have to mount a good intercooler, combined with a pop off a frizza and bigger, to keep in reliability would be ideal to mount an oil cooler....
