About the unit? steering lock ? the present connector 10-pin connector which can? be acessed by removing the cover above the pedals . There are 2 wires coloured RED / YELLOW , ( The great ? for the power supply of the steering lock , the pi? small ? signal ground to the steering column unit to release the ignition cycle and checks the immo )
There ? also a great thread BR / BLK ? to the ground .

    procedure:
1 . Insert the key into the slot and press until you obtain the power of success ( all the lights on the dashboard , which means steering lock ? now off ) .

2 . Connect the small wire red / yellow to the 'big' br / BLK wire on the connector lock .

3 . This ? all of the people ! You have now disabled permanently the steering lock , and then nothing more? problems with it failing to disengage . Not c'? need a new lock , and the dreaded procedure of matching, immo

You may need to try step 1 a couple of times depending on how your intermittent problem . Better to try it with the wheels shown straight .
The connector doesn't allow much space , so it will have to? lie on your back while you work or, alternatively , remove other panels to get a pi? convenient access .
