Question Ford Focus 1.6 90hp - Error Selection Variant.

    Hello to all,
    yesterday me ? entry into the workshop a Ford Focus 1.6 2007 90hp EDC16C34.

The customer has a problem with the EGR valve ? went into the electrical part and tells me that in addition to replace it wants to intervene in the ECU in order to avoid the problem repeated. Whereas at the moment they should go to the expense of a new valve does not want to do a mapping of the ecu, but only a simple closing the EGR then in a second moment we will make a "light" mapping.

I remove the ecu, open it and put it under BDM to read full Flash + E2PROM), but for a reason, to me that is still unknown my BDM refuses to read it, for which I feel with MPPS who quietly reads me the file.

Can I change the map, reloading the file in the ECU, start the car and everything is ok for about 5 minutes, of the road after which? machine limited to 3100 rpm approximately, and error P1187 "Error selection variant" active.

Considering that this is a problem I had experienced with a Citroen C4 Picasso, some time before, and I solved it by rewriting the E2PROM to the original, I tried to riscrivergli the injectors to see if the problem falls but with no instrument (OPUS, Texa, BrainBee, Launch) I can write the inettori.

Having this problem I put the unit under BDM and now the reads and writes quietly (mysteries).

I tried to search around the dump in the BDM port of the ecu, but then I asked (question from noob surely) if I put the E2PROM in this unit, I do not lose the encryption CODE???

I report below the data of the controller, the file ORI bed with MPPS and the file E2PROM read with BDM after the problem.

I hope someone can give me a hand.
