If that doesn't work, or if the disconnect comes the strategy of "reserve" closed loop
Yes, if it's so? we want to call it
Interesting, I didn't think you could delete the first probe, I thought I was an integral part of the carburetor.
I have a couple of doubts:
1.If you disconnect the probe or if does not work how does the ecu work in closed loop? The closed loop provides a reference signal imposed, and a signal is read from the sensor, but if you delete the read signal (eliminating the probe), the controller does not have ir? a signal to which to refer, or mistake.
2.If you delete the first probe, which manages the fuel mixture, the reserve strategy tends to gain weight or to lean?
Hello
The elimination of the probe downstream of the kat and is also available for MED9 of the 1.4 TFSI VAG?
Thanks
carmat for what it is I have it in cloosed loop system does not take into pi? account of the values given by the probe but works with the data "fixed" that it has in memory
the one that you are referring to you and the system is open loop in which the system takes into primary consideration, a reference signal for the probe....
for the probe ? which eliminates the is excluded from the control system Kat's almost in the ecu with the double probe, the system checks at regular intervals the deterioration of the Kat through the values that the probes provide for? swichanndo control the probe continues to send data on the fuel mixture that? it will not be? pi? as accurate as with two sensors

I read this discussion and I asked myself what is the need? all this, in the world of two wheels these things are from so long xch? usually you want to change the exhaust and in some of them ? necessary to remove the probe or probes xch? in the dashboard remains the malfunction indicator light on,many times it is deceiving with resistance at other times, the supplier of the exhaust comes with an emulator,in the meantime, let's start from a premise:
The lambda probe ? need to know if the exhaust gases are fuel, non-combusted, to maintain the mixture ratio (kg air/kg fuel) within the range of optimum efficiency of the catalyst, better known as "lambda 1".
Primarily maintains the mixture of air-gasoline pi? lean to work well with the catalyst and limit emissions at the exhaust , it seems to me that this is not you ? spoke to xch? if I understand it is not about changes at the load, instead with a drain to open its function can? be deleted in accordance with? a programming of the control unit, which maintains the stoichiometric ratio pi? brought to the performance and low emissions... the behavior you describe I suspect that the ecu is working in a kind of "mode? protected", not by receiving information from the lambda probe automatically uses a preset curve so perhaps very conservative, or perhaps it uses the last good curve stored in the memory. at this point I wonder! what is all this if not do not c'? the intention to remove all the catalyst? I can also illuminate x to my knowledge?
