reading bdm ecu gasoline

I have a question maybe wrong... bdm read only units with diesel or even those that are out of gas?

hello there are some units that can be read in the bdm also in the gasoline for instance,the me7.9.10 that fits fiat on the t-jet, for example, and one of those. you can read in boot mode, or if you have the e xxx in bdm.
