To clean I use pure Acetone, it evaporates immediately, and to a good result. Use 2 Flux, a liquid and a cream. For the pond I made a stash of 40/60 and why? the new one they sell, doesn't it ? the maximum of the welds on the fly. I have 6 welders, of which the JBC that ? the top, it costs 500 euros, but the welds are guaranteed. Among the welders in the pi? of elite I have a station BGA IR, but the use for the repair of the PC, and use the flux to the cream of the AMTEC, and then I clean everything with acetone and "cotonfioc"

good luck! I have tried to replace a flash in a edc16 of a bmw, of course this. For dissaldarla, no problem, go hot air. But when risaldi,the pond passes easily from one pin to another, with the consequent risk of shorts. then a little pond

X reduce that problem, I use the flux , even if I think x little experience , the pond tends to thicken by combining the pin, so I have to review so many times...
It would be interesting that some expert explain step pass? the procedure ..

As soon as I can place the chip that I hand welded. However, the important things are:
-clean the 2 surfaces (Chip to base)
-center the component and solder at least 2 pin (the extreme ones)
-start soldering all the pins by heating 2 parts and add after the pond (wrapped for welding nasty use the balls of the pond that I use for the reballing)
-in the case of the union of the 2-pin the braid, taking care to get the soldering iron hot and the braid clean.

Thanks for posting your method, I pi? or less I do so? ! What brand of flux and braid do you use ??

Flux I can't remember the brands, but one ? Polish always "no-clean" and the other ? Amtech, while the braid one of those "by RS" that I use to work up given also the price of about €5, while the other ? of unknown brand, and I bought 10 to €15.
