    The doubt of the writing and more!

    Hello guys, I bought from a German shop SMPS MPPS, V. 12.0.0.6 USB, CAN, EDC16 and I am waiting to arrive to start my adventure, but I have some doubts:
    1. The ecu can you? block read?
    2. If you lock the ecu I got it wrong or can you? recover only with BDM (Croma 2008 1.9 150 bhp)?
    3. I have read that ? the need to keep the battery charged during the read and write operations, but if the battery does not ? 100% the software alerts me?
    4. If this SMPS can truly change all the machines listed how ever many on the forum use so many different tools at the same time?

    1 the control unit and the reading you can block

    2. if you are responding in writing you can try again in recovery without turn the ignition off,if still no go you go bdm

    3, the program notifies you of the tension,but if you put a booster ? cmq better

    4 you can modify any of the machines listed,not all of them!!

    Thanks sportknight, however, the machines are a lot actually, and then c'? written on the object purchased Version V12 nat?rlich ohne Counter trad. Version V12 naturally without counter: what should count?
    The booster ? the battery charger or the handheld instrument that is used to start the machine when the battery ? to the ground?
    Excuse the silly questions, but if you are fairly well versed in computer science and software (even if so far I have not ever used programs for the control units) on the application and the hardware of the computer to the drive are set to zero. Basically I have a theory and I have no knowledge of the practice and the tools to execute it, but the crisis requires adaptation.

    The booster ? the tool used to start the car when the battery ? to the ground.
    Meter means a meter of the scriptures, made tot the scriptures, you can't make more?.

    yes, but not all the cars listed above can be read, some of them have only written

    For example, some marelli mounted on the 1.3 mjet fiat/alfa/lancia/opel can only write why? in reading you will need a bdm or you need to obtain an original file based on the codes of the ecu. To write with mpps you have to cut it to 1 mega but all of these info can be found in the many discussions in the forum.
    If you have patience you will see that slowly you will understand lots of new things.

    Thanks guys, this cut does not know, then this is the section of the original files that c'? on the forum.
    But if you can not? read with MPPS and a controller (as you write above) how do you know the codes to download the original file?
    All the cars the same (type all the point) do not have the same unit or the same as the original file?

    the cars are the same, but its power units no ( at least not all of them, you have to see hw that is equal and sw, to be compatible

    the id of the controller you can do with mpps.
    for example, I've the alfa mito and my unit pu? be written and not read, so I should check the hw with mpps, find the original file, edit it, and rewrite it with mpps, although from what I understand and read write ? risky....
    am I wrong?
