if you don't have any backup you have to troverne one and rewrite it always BDM
the beauty of having a BDM ? just the fact that BEFORE performing any work on any ecu BEFORE you make a nice backup processor, flash and eeprom
in some cases you don't need a backup))))))
in fact, the response was too vague so it is not the answer.

I read on another forum that after the write lock has disassembled the ecu has done the backup and rispristinata...so I deduced that it could be done. Better explained otherwise ? useless to respond as he says msport...
so guys, if you use the bdm then make a nice backup of all and write back even in the bdm given the fact that the ecu and removed it,but if you write in the serial and locked and you have no backup you can search the net or ask perhaps even in this forum cos' write back always in the bdm.
and true to what he says fantic3,but from what I see, not all have adequate equipment, there are cases that even in serial, you can rewrite it after a block..but I have cases,I personally, and I repeat I am not a professional why? not live of this work, but I spend so much time in this but x passion I write almost always in the serial..but if it happens we use the bdm..all qu
