    Question MagPro2 and Rover Suv

Has anyone ever tried to read and write with MagPro2 4.2 units:

    - Land Rover Discovery 2.7
    - Range Rover Sport 3.6 V8

You can do it or not?
You have to take special precautions?
    Thanks for the help...

if I am not mistaken, long ago I did a on-line client a discoveri 2.7 has read and written without problems, but the machine-you've already read?
in the meantime, it would be to see if you can read them and then eventually the value of the writing.

Thanks 1000 to both for the reply!

In fact, in the list of cars supported I had seen that also appear:
    - LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2700 TDV6 190CV SIEMENS SID 201 M58BW016 CAN + 2.0
    - LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER 3600 TDV8 272CSVIEMENS SID 203 M58BW016 CAN + 2.0
But I didn't know if my mountain this unit, I also wanted to have a confirmation...
Then at least the Discovery ? gi? was made...

Unfortunately the machines I have not yet seen: I was contacted by phone...
If they are readable, theoretically, should also be re-writable, or not ? said?

    Thanks, I wanted a reassurance

One last question: the siemens are generally prone to blockages or require special devices for reading/writing?
So now I've had the opportunity to interact only with Bosch EDC15, then the siemens I are completely unknown...
    Thanks again for the help!

I would not say nonsense, but with siemens you have to pay attention to the codes on the injectors....I know that before you write you have to appuntarti the codes somewhere, and if in case you delete them safely re-enter later....otherwise don't put more into the bike...? I repeat can? maybe I'm wrong...

a automoblista create queues even on a motorcycle...

let's say that I have never had problems with siemens on the loss of the codes for the injectors, but as a precaution it would be if the spouts of the type write only doing it in the bdm.

Tips to get BDM instead of the OBD? Or that some can only write but not read them via the OBD, so you better read all BDM in order to have the original file in case of problems?
For these units, which is the tool you need to read/write BDM?

what I wrote, however, nothing to do with landrover, that I was referring to the fact (speaking of siemens) that some 803-803a you can only write and in that case, the board read, and write in bmb then if you want to do other tests in obd okay because so much you have the backup,as it relates to the siemens lettur/write instead there should be problems read modify and write.
