To start from scratch

Hi guys,
as already written in the presentation are an enthusiast who has finally decided to try to ****llo operating in this beautiful adventure.
I have always watched with curiosity the world of the processing of the control units to which in time, I have tried to find some info.
In fact I have never managed to have a real guide to be able to focus on the things that are essential to be able to start to edit a mapping.
I have downloaded some software but I have not yet familiar with it the less I can understand which to use for what and which to use for other...
So I would like it if someone could give me some suggestion to be able to study and start to try processing....

Hello Munro! Thanks for the courteous reply. Well, imagine that you wanted to start to study something and to use some software. What you recommend me? I saw that there are dozens of software but I do not know which one to use . The file of the ecu I have them already but I would like to understand exactly what software to use and if you can't find any info on how to move all over the map. What to change what not, well some manual or guide which in a certain sense in guiding choices.

the sw is easier to use is the ecm is the 2001 that it is a little stale, now is the titanium that is the most...
the map3d is a good sw, but a bit cumbersome to use because of the driver...
sw there are many, however, and are more or less all the same thing...
then if you want the top there is winols, but it is really tough to use the species formed at the beginning..

You thanked. To tell you the truth, I started to make some test with Titanium. The difficulty that I found was in associate with the original mapping of the middle of the file relative to the driver which has in the database. Many are apparently the same as the name but it seems to me that something changes in some parameters.

if the file that you upload is original, the titanium can recognize the right drivers...

Always and anyway? I've got an archive of the original files, and I tried to upload to test some files (zip and RAR) but the Titanium has not given me the response right with the driver.

if the file is completely original you will always find him, and in any case, automatically the driver...

hello Munro, to tell you the truth, no...uploading the file in zip format it recognizes.
You say that it would be better to pull it out? which format should I let him read?
