    IAW 5AF P3 error P0352

Hi all, sorry if maybe not ? this is the suitable section, let's see if someone can help me...

    Car: Fiat Punto 2004 1.2 8V

Problem: the car every so often turns bad and lights malfunction indicator light

    Error encountered: P0352 coil 2

Interventions: replaced coils, spark plug wires (BERU), rpm sensor, spark plugs, and then finally the ECU. The ECU was initially a IAW 5AF P3 HW303 code Fiat 55195640 software version 19BB W37 2004, the ECU mounted ? a IAW 5AF P3 HW603 code Fiat 51827446 NEW software version 40BD W39 2009.

The car ? went well for 2 days, but after a hundred MILES has begun to manifest again the same problem

I then checked the battery, cables, mass, added mass direct from the battery to the ecu, now I don'T know pi? what to do!

I read somewhere that Panda there was a software update for Fiat to resolve the problem, is there a software pi? up-to-date 40BDW39 for this ecu?

    What else to check?

Hello I suggest You to replace the engine control unit with a working... this is a defect on the versions 5af and very well known...
the problem, and without a doubt the ecu of the engine, the same problem happened to pi? times, the ecu remanufactured don't always work

I measured with the multimeter the resistance of the end of the unit and ne ? came out of a 491-pin 10 and 492 pin 38, so it should be OK, considering that not ? the usual "regenerated", but a reconditioned FIAT from 360 EURO...

if the current is released from the coils, check the tappets or the head gasket in those machines easily from the lluminio of the head.

    "MAYBE" I fixed it ;-)
Measured with the tester and also the new ecu, ne ? out of a 488 pins 10 and 489 38 pin, I then: disconnected battery, replaced spark plugs with NGK DCPRE7 N 10 (there were fitted to the equivalent Bosch YR7DC+), fitted the new ignition cables Fiat 46749624, replaced again coils NGK coil Magneti Marelli ORIGINAL (one of the two NGK had been peeled off the wrapping :down arranged for good cables, injectors and coils (they had the inflator "cooked" from the heat and cracked), checked and cleaned the mass on the throttle body, re-attached the battery, reset the error P0352 and set in motion
The malfunction indicator light ? turned off, the car runs well and there are no empty spaces in acceleration... For the moment we have traveled thirty MILES and it seems to go...

Due to my experience with other brands, I'd recommend always and only the ORIGINAL Marelli, all the others are really crap...

You need to check the terminals of the connections to the ecu . You can change how many units you want .
