Hello guys, and for a long time that I wonder, in spite of something you learned about some of the ecu. is this:
depending on models and years,
the various maps of the ecu, you can repeat several times, also 3 as indicated, e.g.: ecm 1/3 etc.
they are all the same.
now what are active?
and the better I lose a lot of time to make them all the same.
someone knows something about it, whether it is necessary to do all of them or not?

Are similar maps of that? extensions of the first. Should always be made except in the rare exceptions where the ecm that you mention does not butt with the driver ? those maps are completely different than the one that interests us for the purposes of editing ( not so rare, to say the truth?).As a map turbo that runs only under certain conditions (type dpf regeneration). Maybe some similar important not to consider it. Without taking anything away to the ecm that anyway ? a great soft certain info that d? they deserve a moment of reflection in the ir? sometimes.
