it seems to me , but I'm not sure that changes the size, but a little changes, and to write it we must change it.

a brief guide tested today .. the read file in jtag on marelli udf and written in the obd , being longer than a few kb , to be able to write in obd, and must either cut -upload the file with the ecm
    -cut/paste
    -set user-defined
start 00000 laciatelo so, and that is how
    the end 1FFFF
saved the file and you can rewrite it without problems from the serial port
    personally tested

the guide has been tested if I want the amminastratori you can put in relief or in any section

I don't know what you're doing if specific we can get some advice.. Car, type of ECU etc
Aaa I forgot BDM and J-Tag are two separate things..

Cinqueturbo as always available to help! Then, if possible, it is better if you explain to me the difference from bdm and jtag

Regarding the marelli mjd8 I can confirm (I just tried I on a file) that if you have a backup made in j-tag from 2049kb the cuts from the ecm to the address 1FFFFF, and you will have a file to 2048kb ready to write serial
