What problems has the power steering physically? You by abnormalities in the panel or what else?
On the code P0606, I know that many have resolved with a simple update of the SW in the ecu as some bug was present in versions OLD (I don't know the release).
If you give more information on the type of ecu hw and sw and the problem would be better.

with that error code you need to replace the starter motor and ecu ,Peugeot or citroen it does not cost much and find it as a spare part ori, install it and do not need to be encoded
Boys, however, the case was resolved with the revision of the entire group box-motor-ecu, and apparently it has been opened the control unit...around on the internet I found some info that indicated exactly in it of the failure,I was tempted to open it but the owner Of the car is responsible himself to find the spare.
