According to me if a device ? designed to be powered from the direct current is not allowed to? work properly if fed in alternating and vice versa. From experience I have had to replace a customer with a power supply of a router which is fed into the continuous, mistakenly I took a power supply into ac power and not working at all. The signals they provide are completely different. The control units of the car being powered directly from the battery should be continuous.

The power supplies of the various ecu of the cars are all a direct current (DC), where you use those to alternating current AC??
the rooster is powered in direct current, the only thing that you need to keep an eye on and the amperage needs to vary from 1.5 to 2A (amp?)..
