Also on the bay there are many who sell elm327 will personally recommend you to take the version with usb cable ? pi? stable and reliable than bluetooth. I took elm327 and also the adapter kit (3 plugs colored) all over the bay for use with multiecuscan in a professional manner (workshop) and all works fine now without any problem.
get the modified version in the can line, had some problems, as I have recommended, you can find everything on the net
You can take any type! from what I understand the 1.4 is the best, the cio? work without having to make any changes. the 1.5 you have to open them and desolder a resistor and also becomes this to-be-working the can line.
