Kess and problems in reading, writing...
Hi all!
I have always worked with the ecu on the bench, avoiding read/write via serial...
I wanted to try from the serial with the Kess with a Bwm 520d.
Read me asks for the value of the resistance...and write me says checksum error...
Where do I get the correct value of the resistance? checksum error why? the ecu is not ? supported?
thanks in advance!

hello, but you're talking about kess 1 or 2?

Use xp sp2...and the software suite k has caused me a few issues...
However, the interface and a clone

then do so, install win7 32-bit and retry, you'll see that it works well, for xp you need at least sp3 32-bit, on 64-bit systems, the clones have some problem
-
then I installed the k-suite on 2 laptops, one with xp sp2 and the other with windows 7 32-bit:
on xp is giving me the problems described above;
on windows 7, k-suite does not start with the kess...
I'm hacking to get it to work but I am left with the conviction that ? better to work at the bench with the ecu... am I wrong?
