Voltage to work safely with MPPS
As the title suggests, I wanted to ask you what? the minimum voltage with which you can? working safely with mpps?
Read an ECU Marelli (ducati motorcycle) me ? happened to observe that the voltage ? dropped from 12.3 to 11.7 in about, until that is the law I don't think you could cause damage, instead of writing I think it is different ? pi? dangerous, right?
In this regard, I would indicate the voltage below which not ? recommended work?
Thanks

nn and that there is a " voltage safety" . it is necessary that the battery will have the strength you keep " sbeglia " the ecu.
good idea to put a batterria parallel to yours .

I have written the voltage yet, why? I noticed that the mpps turns from green to red when the voltage drops below 12 volt, I was wondering if it was advisable to work within that threshold volt!
Instead of the battery in parallel, I could use a charger connected to the battery, or the maintainer of charge?
Thanks

THE AVERAGE USER
When I write an ecu always connect the charger to security and turn off all of the services such as radio and lights various to limit to a minimum the use of the battery. If you are above the 12V ? getting better and better.

Thanks Matthew, then connect myself an external charger to the battery to be sure work well!
On my bike, I can't turn off the headlight position, it activates itself and to read the ECU I have to turn the key!

discussion moved to the suitable section, be careful next time

Leandro, I apologize if I am wrong section, but I deliberately posted in the section for beginners considering that the question of voltage could be common to several serial interfaces.
Sorry again, make? pi? attention!

THE AVERAGE USER
The key you have to turn almost always when you read/write in serial this not ? a problem. The problem arises when you have a battery, maybe a little tired, and starting to write sometimes, automatically the fans of the engine start at the maximum, causing for an instant a voltage drop and threatening to stop writing.

the title of the discussion that you've opened it speaks clearly of mpps

Mpps as is not able to read marelli 6f3 or new 500 ...great point...and in this case how can I solve
