Info on ECU Clio 1.5 Dci 65 HP

Hi guys,as I said, I am trying to set out into the world of electronic tuning, and a beginner's avr? a lot of questions to ask
I have a Clio 1.5 DCI 65 HP I'm going to read and write with mpps v12, by the time I'm studying one of the maps with ECM Titanium,to be able to better manage the increases and to understand the function of the curves, and certainly before to write to the ECU poster? the mapping done by me for your opinion? now my question ? another.
I don't know if the ECU of my clio is EDC15 or EDC16, what are the differences? How do I know the type of ECU mounted on a car?
When I realized the EDC15 if they go on the block, the only way to get them back ? unsolder the chip in the ecu, connect it to a programmer the eeprom and reprogram it, while the EDC16 can be resumed with the BDM100?
It is exact that all in there??
I entrust myself to you experts
    Thanks

In the meantime, thanks, thanks, thanks for the reply
The ecu ? a delphi, when it comes to the fan in the writing I had thought to unplug it what do you think?

disconnect the fan or remove the fuse and you have a safety.

Perfect then, tonight, I read with mpps, all is well read in a minute, now you switch to edit the file..
I've ruled out the egr mechanically, but c'? the light engine on a framework that breaks the balls and even if I turn off from the diagnosis reappears after a p?, I should find some way to simulate the proper functioning of the egr maybe with resistors, or I had read that you can? also exclude from mapping.. What do you say?
