    Differences ECU

    Hi,
I have a doubt that me: I'd like to buy something that will allow me to read and edit the ecu of my car but I'm realizing that I want more? equipment... in particular I have the following drive:
    - Lancia Delta evo - electronic control unit type IAW - from what I understand, you should program a new eprom... luckily I have already? the base is welded in as gi? mapped - but with what software I could read this eprom??? Attacking the bdm with the jig (if I had you) I could read it and modify it freely?
    - Alfa Romeo Gt jtd - should be a bosh - what hardware/software I would need?
    - Renault Clio RS phase1-2001 - totally in the dark but I've read that ? difficult to interface with this ecu...
    - ecu Athena GetData, which is basically a walbro - ? mounted on a rally car and I have seen that has a parallel cable attached, how can I talk with this??

I'm sure some user here I can? help... thanks in advance....

then for the delta you need a normal eprom programmer!!!!
for the GT a normal cock, or a bdm given that mounts to a edc16!!!
for the clio you should leggelra with a cock, however, and see that the ecu mounts!!
For the walbro you need the serial programmer walbro with dedicated sw!!!!!!!!

certainly with the bdm you can read all of the backup, and in this way prevent any problems that may arise.

and then as someone said: "the question...", with the bdm I can read, and do the backup, at the same time I can't write??? This? renault clio 2001, can the map even through bdm or do I need to force a cock or a mpps?

with BDM you can read and write all your car, except for Athena, that avr? a e xxx different. Usually if you take, for example, a BDM 100 from the forum, you are supplied 3 schedule: marelli, delphi and siemens. If you want to map to a other ecu and you're not familiar with the solders you have to get the e xxx suitable. However, I think you first contact msport that will surely succeed? to track you down the interface and dedicated software. In the BDM, even if the laws then you don't have the drivers to change it, and then you will need to edit it in 2d...
