    Read write marelli MJ

    Hello I have a Kess clone and I want to remap my g point 1.3 m punto TD 75cv the ecu is a marelli MJ I'm at the beginning and it's my second car I want to do..on the K suit in the two boxes when I select the car I have only 1 check in the 2 boxes..risk of blocking it? Thank you

    Any help? Should I do it with the ktag?always clone

    with ktag you are sure, you make a backup and go, but ' with kess you read and write, even if you do not have the check in the box , try to go ahead and see that you should have the voice read, always do ID first so you see if it communicates and then read.

    Is ktag clone safer?can you read it just by opening it? I'm a beginner..

    Maybe I could do a backup read with ktag and then read and write with kess to be faster? With the ktag does not work the bench or service mode?not to open the ecu

    with ktag clone you do not have the mode' bench or service-mode that you want to call, after you have opened it you have to remove a resistance and then if you do not have the spring card (which I do not think you have) you have to weld a card on the pitches BDM , I do not recommend doing it if you are a beginner.

    if I were you I would do with the kess, but giving advice in these cases is always difficult.

    Thanks Ugo for the advice, if it is safe to do it with the kess I try to do it così..si welding is not about it because anyway you can danneggiare..se it takes a slip on purpose to put it over the pins you buy..I'm not in a hurry, the car is mine and I don't want to do any damage anyway..as soon as I can I want to buy a ktag ori but for now I want to fiddle on mine..
