I would like to learn how to change EDC17, so far I have changed both EDC15 which EDC16 (always working from the OBD).
I would like to know if you run any risks in to write by OBD, a generic EDC17 (tprot off) by extracting the original file from the id, and then, without you have read in the tricore.

my consiflio and always to read the file that the ec in the ecu, then you do it from the serial bootmode opening or in the bench, and always better to read it, then if you make a backup in bootmode so much better and are more secure, then the change does not differ very much from edc16, there are many more things and limiters but the curves are those of the base.
