I tried to go to read with Kess ecu for my california jackal moto guzzi.
I can't tell you the model of the ecu, indeed, if someone from the photo recognize it and can write it it would be great.
Anyway, back to the problem, the cable that requires Kess cable is the ducati to be connected directly to the instrument.
Kit Kess fw 4.036 that I purchased is not there.
the cable if I type fiat 3 pin has two other plugs that you can see in the picture.
the thing that I thought of is to connect to the positive of the battery to one of the two pins of the second plug (like fiat 2-pin)
can you tell me which pin or on the type of connection should I do to not burn the tool?
what's the use of that spinottino small and round that comes out near the plug of Kess? (there is also on the cable with OBD)
I put the photo of the unit, the stud that I called like fiat 2 pins, one of the spinottino small and round, present in several cords of Kess and...
photo of another plug that comes from the ecu (the small round 2 pin) and a red/black wire and a blue wire, what's the use?
I retried the reading, bringing the positive to the spinottino round little one enters into the outlet side of the Kess (with his cavettino blue) and connecting to the diagnostic socket, the control unit 3 pin fiat.
I don't get the reading, it tells me error alarm
but what is strange is the voltage detected from Kess 2.5 V with cable, blu while 1,2 about without cable blue.
I attached to the positive battery wire to the blue and of course I checked the voltage of the battery is good 12,4 V
how do I connect to the reading?
or do you have another idea of how to fix it?
I found the pinout for the read counter, the control unit IAW15M C3 of my Jackal (I enclose)
below, as in the diagram
"I" to bring to term only the ID but out of the numbers, the SW would be preposterous while the HW-full read by label would be 61600.381.01
