On a Fiat 16, I removed precatalizzatore and catalyst/dpf (the system is identical to that of the 159) and I replaced the latter with a catalyst of a 147 jtd 8v... it works fine (until now)!!!!

I usually facccio tube straight...so not to ruin the dpf to the customer
There are no fast cars... But only foot heavy!!!!:cool:
I fully agree with you, it may ask you to provide all of the golds (for example, in the case of a sale)
is the exact problem ? in general, the straight tubes are good if you have the dpf and catalytic separated otherwise with the tube on some cars you lose the back pressure that was there before the removal, with a resulting vacuum you low..at this point you should where can you? take a cat from the demoman and apply it to the car, always when the situation makes it possible, and the expense is minimized
In fact, the first to suggest the 200 cell metal... and then the good old and reliable catalyst euro3
I think I inform the customer on the difference, and the spending that goes to face, the holes of course will damage the fap and therefore implies liability? at the time of sale of the car.
The majority, however, asks a HOLE...
Nothing pulls like a hole... oops true that was a hair....!
I too proceeded to the forum!seems to go well
the fact ? also take into consideration the fact that in the case of revision, the vehicle is lifted, and if certain machines ( as Fiat 16 ) ? very visible.. so better not cut it with straight pipes..
