I agree.. Here anyway ? evident in the loss of communication between the interface and the ECU due to a certain point, the lack of a power supply to the mpps.

At this point we would have to figure out if the problem ? was caused by failure of the supply or power surges from the car, or by a hardware problem of the interface.

to me never happened on edc16 of the vag group with mpps, some times guys before programming let x a few seconds, the sw is open, and maybe try to make the ecu id, and try to read even if only for a few seconds, x check if the sw works opp ? in was KO seem to be evidence banal but effective. this problem to me, usually with gallo 2 do a little bit of power conbatteria auxiliary battery charge and reached 13.2 works ok.

The battery is not even a year old, but in the starter ? a bit sluggish. Pu? perhaps there was a voltage drop.... I also noticed that there are cables that come with the battery a bit oxidized because the old battery was leaking acid.

Then I think you've found the problem, clean the terminals and put a smear of vaseline or silicone grease and maybe a p? of reactivating on the cables and try again
