I take advantage of this thread to have a board that pertain to a software, free or paid, that will allow me to do the Log accurate diagnosis with particular attention to the recent BMW (2000 > ...). What do you recommend? That n? think of the Bavarian Technic? Has anybody ever tried it with ELM 327?

I can open a poll of the type "Vs favorite Software with ELM327"? I'd like to know the choices of the users, and the reasons for it.

Where can I find the Link to download the Scan Tool? From what I understand ? a Freeware program.

I have scan tool 1.13, mi ? out with the cd of the elm327 bluetooth..

I've yet to find a valid software that makes you an accurate diagnosis and that it is generic.. I have done a thousand trials, but in the end I always use the brain & b workshop..
also torque, it runs on a p? all of the machines, but sometimes by strange errors, or does not detect them.. example 156 jtd not starting for sensor burned, did not give me anything.. diagnosed with the brain & b, I found the error..

I use *********** on the vehicles of the group, alfa, fiat and lancia as soft generic instead of his or pcmscan or scan elm...touch scan, scantool, odb2 etc etc and in the end almost all the same...
