I with XP, or only had problems!
definitely different from your but it will be a year that I use win7, and for me another planet,
never crash, never gb,never slowing down, so much more reliable!
I would not go back to xp if it were not for the HW BDM & MPPS!

Report my experience so that someone can draw guidance.

For this type of work I have equipped and I bought a pc 12-inch with 4gb of ram and a dual core processor, the samsung, of course, with seven 64. The first thing I did ? was to put xp in dual boot, but I'm a nail made me a fool, and after having lost in a sea of time, I am pissed off and I removed it, did not like in any way the dual boot, and each time left me impappinava between the two on where to start, could not go because I did not them to lose time behind the pc on the day. Then I decided to put the vmware, a second brothel. I nailed the pc and I had to reset it by power button and so much to appreciate me ? stuck in writing on a panda MJ, luckily I managed to take it with MPPS. Every time the left is damn virtual machine on the computer it was planted with a slow impossible, in spite of the discrete hardware resources, up to the point that the nth reset ? sconfigurato the MPPS and not c'? pi status? way to make it start working again. Practically, the virtual machine could not connect the cable to xp. At that, at the limit of the anger and the instinct to 99.9% of kicking the laptop again, I put back in the box and I have procured a nice USB extension cable to connect my nice desktop pc with XP that I use around the workshop (2004) with all the soft and the diagnosis that I use for work and I have solved many of the problems, even if you do not ? just the maximum.

Last Sunday, since I was locked up in the house due to the rain, I took back the laptop, I removed the VMware, I deleted the XP virtualized and I tried to put the oracle's virtualbox. I solved all the problems, the computer runs as fast as xp goes that a splinter and the virtual machine I handles very well all of the devices that are of concern to me on a usb drive. In half an hour I have solved all the problems that I do not succeed in weeks of hard work.

PS: the virtualbox ? in Italian, unlike VMware ? only in English.

VMware is fine but must be configured and you will need to install the tools, then if you install it on a laptop that has already? problems of his guilt ? of the software, I have a pc with VMware and I turn around and I never had a problem, then ? matter of taste and sometimes it takes a p? C**or

The tool I installed them, as well as the configuration, I tried to make it better, and I would also say that with full knowledge of the cause given that I have several years handling the computer. The pc that I have used ? new and with good resources, but rather from what I could understand should be the VMware does not support a duty AMD new generation ? just what is needed at my computer. I never said that VMware is not good, maybe noj goes well on some computers, and probably will be? a little + expensive resources than virtualbox.
