to me have advised to " release all cable " as they say, there are less connections, wires, c'? less risk of some false contact, and that you wear for less!!! between v5 and v12 , it says that the v5 ? pi? stable but face a few less car!
it is exactly the opposite in that everything in the cable, things have been deleted, and miniturizzate then made 2 accounts alone, and draw your own conclusions from that,for the v5 and it is true that initially than the v12 was more stable, but now it seems that the thing is to be established, and the v5 is out of production now.

I think of you why? now use win7 the driver of the v12... what do you think?them to see? as the same interface? I would like to keep them both why? with the v5 I'm sure on the tdi edc15 I have never had problems!!!

I with the V5 I have done two cars with MED9.1, a 2.0 TDI EDC16U31, a 1.9 TDI EDC16U31, and a 1.9 TDI EDC15. Always have the charger plugged in and never a problem.
For me, the better the v. 12 and not only because? is pi? machines, I've written no problem 30 marelli 6F3 grande punto 75 and 90 hp and never a block, then
problems in any ecu can happen both with the v. 5 with v. 12.
