I have seen the ones that sell no limitation sell the kess with the programmer jlink jtag. reading on the website of a vendor, you must solder on kess a comb and connect it to the jlink, they give you a file and a program to use with the jlink to reset the token without desoldering the micro.

The micro ? erasable. You can customer has itself paid one of the empty and load the sw without the limits of tokens

no, even with the old kess just replace the micro with one that you can? overwrite several times, you connect the jlink and resets the token.
the new kess v2 already have the micro rewriteable.

I will tell you my experience with the kess v2 bought online. Unfortunately I ? happened to an interface of quality? poor. It seemed a miracle that it worked. Even if I have to say that on the machines slightly more? issues (edc16 ford or bmw)? regularly PLANTED as every piece of junk worthy of the name. Paid over 400e fortunately refunded after a long dispute. On mine, complete with j-link and chip, reprogrammable, there was already? the preparation for the programming. From the rumors, there is a way to "transform" version the slave the master full. Given that there are always a lot of money in prom case ever ? preferable to buy one of these with the original hardware and have a minimum warranty on the result of the work.
