    volvo fh12 Reading and writing

Hi guys, I have been asked to read a Volvo fh12 500cv with ecu Volvo TRW. I have the FGtech v53 and ? in the protocol for that type of ecu. I would isapere if there are problems in the read-write (type, various encodings, etc.) saw that ? the first time with that type of vehicle.
    Thanks to all

I, at least, I would try to read it... maybe even the supports, and then you get the problems before them.

in protocol c'? via obd, for? the problem ? that I don't have the slightest idea about any problems in reading and/or writing such as loss of encodings or the other.

in my opinion, in reading you should not fear anything, for curiosity? has the diagnostic socket 8-pin or 16 pin obd?

ok we give? take a look.
But in the process of reading and possibly writing have you had any problem ?
Those ECU's I have ever seen, and above all it would be the first time that I read and that I see a file in the middle of the cos? big. THE reading seems to be 32kb, but did not ? a p? too little ?
I repeat that I know nothing about trucks, then it would be the first experience

ok, I think Saturday read? the file. I downloaded one of the original from the database and I saw that the ECM recognizes these files. in the end, those are very simple these maps. In the drivers there? management turbo, I have just a little time looking in 2D ( if c'? in the map, and if the turbo ? manageable from the control unit )

    Hello
    If ? a 500cv does it say that ? a Euro 5 with control unit EMS2,with processor Freescale Mpc5556
Them it all depends on the vintage and the hardware version, this is because the Hw P01-02-03 have the maps are more or less at the beginning, while Hw P04 and 05 have the maps at the end...and those you don't read from the socket, but only in the Jtag...and to write it from the outlet, you have to have the cock Ori (look on the site, the Software Revision, and you will find the new protocol)

You should post the file,so we check whether or not you can pump it :-)

I forgot..on the reading 32k you're sure to find some curvetta, but not that important if it was Hw P04-05

Usually are the ones from 2007 onwards that have Hw P04 and the next

It jtag you have to star to the eye...no ? impossible to do,but the pin to be welded are really small in jtag..and between the 1 pin and the other there are the ground pins...then look to the courts!! ;-)
