I have the impression that in new cars you need to crank out the number as high as sought after by the young people... the HP...
C'? a race to produce the car with the pi? the high number of horses...
But then trim/chassis/weight/brakes/performance on the track seem to me to have regressed...
The race to power and to the torque increase (though less so) ? x a need for marketing and the fact that the machines compared to 10years ago, weigh + as they have to withstand the crash test, an optional extra which have, unsprung mass is true of x as the wheels...
example, perhaps the absurd:
1990 hardening 2000 benza 1200kg about tires 185/60 14 (115hp)
2005 Kia Rio 1500 crd 110cv (diesel) 185/65 14 (machine of a lower category and wheel + great even though the app seems to be that a bike)
