Dear friends,
I closed the EGR to my ALFA 156 115hp with EDC15C7 making process the file ori from CARSOFTWARE.
No light on, but in the diagnosis, multiecuscan I detect the error ( P404, if I remember correctly).
And this is fair cos??
Thanks.

I don't think that carsoftware do these ecu, better delete it manually, however, by eliminating the EGR from the file, even if you remove the plug, it should not lead to any error
The patience and virtue of the strong..
Well, the EGR ? the flanged part (for me, had flanged a mechanic several years ago with a plate that had holes of small size).
Then I closed the map, but the diagnosis detects the error, unlike the ypsilon 70cv that does not detect anything.
Pi? late upper? both the ori and the noegr.
hello giary if placed in the mode of trying to understand what happened
I have not looked at the mod but I can reassure you by telling you that with the classical exclusion egr on edc15c7 in diagnosis is the error, even if everything works regular and will not turn on no light.

Well, thank you.
This was what I wanted to know. The exclusion ? was done well...
The truth? ? that is, since? the machine from yesterday, suddenly turns off (this is why I started another discussion), I ? come to doubt that the error of the EGR may have had its responsibility, instead, it is apparently not ? cos?.
Thanks to all for the valuable comments.
Absolutely nothing! You have been very clear.
The misconception ? due to my slowness in writing that it has made that the messages accavallassero!

If you want to delete it manually from the map you do it safely, even if you just put a simple plate closed, and solve the problem at the source without the mod in the ecu. the edc 15 unlike edc16 do not give error in the map if closed by hand, at least that is not broken all the way, for? usually just get him to na clean and it goes on.
yes, I know that they are not schizzinose as the EDC16, but I wanted to make it from the map ? pi? fast.
But if I detect the error, doesn't it ? that ? faulty EGR valve?
If it's so? it was, ? really strange why? the solenoid seems to work (tried it with MULTIECUSCAN mode? actuators test)!!!
