Today I removed the ecu of an Audi TT 1999 1.8T 20v 224hp (225) engine code APX, ECU bosch motronic ME 8N0 906 018 AE.
After it opened I noticed that, as you can see from the photo, the flash ? gi? been previously welded and ? been applied to the socket. However, to remove the flash you have to unsolder the resistor close otherwise the socket does not scroll and does not allow unlocking of the flash.
Having said this, we had already? realized that had been mapped (made by previous owner) why? in the absence of other problems (? was controlled in each individual component) delivers terrible and the pi? sometimes it goes into recovery with the cutting of the fuel and lowering the boost. In addition, the peak arrives at 1.4 bar when it should be around 1.0 bar. That said, we would like to rewrite the original map and then work on the "clean".
Given that I don't have a programmer to flash and I know which one to take and still would like to avoid the expense consequent, you can do the job with a galletto clone ver 1260?
