    The answer to Already:
normally I known that welding power usually are more? difficult to dissolve (with welders commercial) and this, in my opinion, ? due to 2 causes: the pond with the passage of the current ( galvanic current) over time tends to become porous, 2 why? if you ? provided that the components heat then use a pond to a higher concentration of silver or materials + hard to solder, but I repeat this ? a theory of my own.
Solution: I am in the lab I have several welders, but the best solution ? always add the pond's 60-40 and wait for those who blend all things and then remove all of the.
For progress: never heard of the pond with gold base. When you are not strong, you need to clean the pitches with acetone or use solder paste or clean mechanically with a fine abrasive paper, or the sum of all the solutions.
I hope I have been helpful

There are + methods, I will introduce you 2:
    - cut a piece of braid along about 5mm, and place it over the pond to remove, and then put the soldering iron(hot) and like magic the pond remains in the braid. Done there? while the braid ? hot the you need to remove, or with a shot of a welder or not ? can, always ? hot pull it up with tweezers.
-take the braid and without cutting it, the hillside above the pond, then over put the solder and by a little pressure aspects that melts the pond which then will stay? in the braid, then pick up the braid and when cold cut the tip (of braid) up to where ? full tin cos? to have in hand the braid clean and ready to use...this ? the method of ir? I use .
I hope I expressed it well.

It doesn't matter, I lately I have the 1,5, and it's fine. I used the 2.5 but in the end, if you have manualit? well with a piece of wire you can remove the pond... I happen to not find the braid and what I do, I take a piece of wire and use it as if it was a braid, and when I have concern for the bathroom in the dough jumps and I guarantee you that the result comes out immediately.

The ones I have I am in the Gel, one ? transparent and the other ? brown. The brown I use for the BGA and for tin LEAD FREE , for all others use the other. But what gel I use it only and exclusively with the welder IR, while for the welds made with the welders stylus, use liquid flux. I remember you warmly to do not inhale the vapours and if you use welders "poor" to avoid contact between the tip and the flux or paste firm, why? the result ? the sudden ruin of the tip.

I'm the one liquid I of amtech, I only have those gel and honestly I have always seen cos?. Consists of c'? they are a sea, get a flux no-clean and are quiet. If you want my advice, in parit? price and flux get that + in color, or transparent. Those colored pink, or brown does not inspire me, why? I suppose that leave residue, but this ? my fisima and nothing certain.
