    Question about the checksum.

Hi guys, I have a small question.
Browsing around the forum, I found two rows of cars with which I have "played". A ? the skoda of my father, the other the swift 69 of a friend.
For? one thing I noticed. Equal nm of HW and SW, and the file of skoda, has the same CHECKSUM, and the file of marelli, ? different checksum...Because

the cks ? a very complicated thing that is calculated on the basis of various parameters.

Yes, this I understand...But as ever, on two ecu's of different cars with the same numbers of HW and SW ? the same, and on other cars, with equal numbers ? different? A ? BOSCH, the other MARELLI...

for that I know ? little !! but looking at the name the Checksum ? an amount of data that the control unit controls before starting so I gather that if with the same hw and sw have different data, the number camdia put that you have given in the control unit X to 4 and in the control unit Y 5 the checksum will be? divero
and then, perhaps, I wrote a crap, I have used the logic, not knowledge

the cks ? different for each software, so if you find two ecus with the same cks does it say that ? the same ecu with the same software, I repeat, that in order to calculate the cks there are mathematical formulas and parameters to be observed.

I can't see the photo but as I said the checksum ? the sum of all the bits contained in the control unit in the field of automotive ecu there are 2 types of checksum that is linear ? always the same, let's say that by changing a value in one ecu with the checksum linear A24 Hex (Hexadecimal), the data must? always be always A24 and then the software goes to the tip of the bit in his "Bank bit" or metterceli why? the check should always be the one when f? the "the Checksum To check the integrity", while in the checksum algorithm, the hexadecimal number will change? with the addition or sotrazzione bit data that the ecu goes to look ? at a point, say, a safety deposit box that clearly the editing software will change with the new addition, if i check the same ? why? have the same number of Bits
    Ps: at least I think
