it may happen that a little circulates but too little, and therefore, when operating the internal fan tends to lower the temperature and also because the hose back from the radiator and connected in the vicinity of the thermostat, and then where is located the temperature sensor

I sold 3 days ago a faucet of a fiesta 2005...saw that at the moment I'm on vacation and I have no chance? to check if the alpha in question c'? the faucet or not but definitely ? a problem of any sensor that when you open the hot air (nn climate), run the cold water in the circuit, and then lowers the temperature of the coolant. I'm not a mechanic, but a autoricambista, and then I go to intuition.

I had the same problem on a y baby elephant after having the head and then changed the pump and thermostat in it warmed up and the temperature drops a bit. I solved it with the tempoprobabilmente was only air in the radiator inside. in your case I'd watch the pump and the pipes of the heating if you heat both the thermostat is not from that fault, the faucet is not there ? a shovel that closes and opens
