Bdm,everything that there is to know

Then,guys,I'm moving my first steps with the bdm,I was able to make connections and to read the ecu,so if anyone new wants a hand I can help you,what I want to see it now ?

1)if I perform a full backup,then I can use the export function to dividermi the file, or merge it when I edited and finished right?

2)what does the external flash (also known as the 29bl/28f/m58w? it should contain maps seen that in the files ? 2048 right?

3)what does the flash mpc5xx?

3) what does the e2prom?

4) the file that I get from the reading of the external flash or 298bl/28F/M58W ? I can also write with programmers serial?and if you,c'? to make some changes,some conversion etc?

every time that I write in bdm I have to press checksum to ensure that the program writes and checks the checksum right?

I believe that these questions will be useful to all in the case to receive the answers :P

Be careful to add just a little to lock a control unit,my advice and do a little bit of experience on a used starting to open it, that seems like an easy thing but not so

for the checksum, I meant to say,if I write the external flash for example..the checksum recalculates the route automatically even if I enter just the flash? or do I have to run I the command checksum?
