A battery costs average from 30 € to 50 € for nn do damage, you can spend a maximum of 50 € ?
If you want to spend less we know those for anti-theft-from-home 15 €....

According to me you st? taking it to the extreme too, calculated that the tool official(who is not st? here to list) provide for reading in the boot of a power supply similar to that of mobile phones by 12V 2A and personally, I have used it without any problems. Now for comidit? I have unified the connectors of my equipment, and with a stabilized power supply for burglar alarm 5A and voltage adjustable from 11.5-14 V, solve the problem with a few euros, about 10€. The same power supply, the output to charge a battery, that I use for extra security, just in case it were to go away the tension(almost never nowadays), and work in safety and reliability? even why? ? clearly stabilized. Talk about so many Amps ? useless, considered that the cross-section of a 1mm framework supports 4A,a control unit car ? powered by a cable section max 1mm,do yourself a p? die accounts. Even why? the power supply must keep only one processor and not all the devices attached to it. So needless to a lot of current.

Right but as you note, the battery and more stable and secure, if c? a drop in voltage it blocks everything?

The battery would maybe do that, but the rest voltage drops today, they show almost never, maybe a problem in the power supply. And never without first having made a backup,is on the boot that bdm, then ? however, safe. Resets and via.
