    Thanks 1000 msport!
I started this discussion, why? I remember years ago, a renowned mapper of my parts with CMD the original, I said that it often happened that in the process of reading the program to be read only in part, the map, and then, in the time to rewrite it, got the ecu!
I think it was some models of the Golf 4 (this is why in the title I have written to VW), but I spent too many years, and then I don't remember pi? not sure which version of the car.
Then I thought it was a kind of anti-tuning installed on some units, or incompatibilit? among some of the programming device and some of the ecu...
Also I read in some post to cut the size of the file before you write it with Mpps, so I thought it would be good to ask for clarification to you with a lot of experience in the industry, the first to combine some casino...

Given that we are in the speech: has anyone ever had problems like that with MagPro2? Or inconveniences in the process of reading/writing?

PS: ? can change the title of the discussion, leaving simply: "Request clarification"?
    Thanks!

the title I have it amended as appropriate according to me,for the rest I will explain to you,so it's no antituning the fact is that, for example, take mpps if you read the file of a bmw that as a rule, 2m him the save of 1m as practically able to read only the table data, then a partial, but a file that you can edit, and rewrite without problems then if you throw in a complete file of 2m and, of course, blocks, this on the bmw then for example take several opel 1.9 cdti reads the file of 1m, which actually is the normal size, only that if you compare a file of the same opel read, for example, with magpro note that the size is the same, but comparing them in 2d to bed with mpps at the beginning has a line of straight ffffff etc. while the bed with magpro has data then also in this case mpps has only read the table data, but the file of full size and then each case has its own story,I will recommend you to safety if you do not have the experience to write a file that has been read by the same programmer, or otherwise, for any doubt before writing to ask here so me and the other we can possibly get in look at in order to avoid mess and useless, good continuation.

Thanks msport, you were very clear and exhaustive!
So as I understand, usually this type of problem occurs only with Mpps? Therefore you are? using other programmers (MapPro, Chicken, etc...) you should be immune from this unpleasant problem?
    Thanks!

PS: thanks also for the correction of the title

That's right... for those who still ? a novice ? best is always to ask the opinion on the forum instead? take the initiative and then the damage is done!
