When I had the Alfa 159 is all I could read from and write to the map with the program that I was given, with the obd2 cable but now I can't find in the list of cars my and so I can not of course read the map...gives me only the e46 but not the e87.

As I understand you have a gal 1260, and according to me does not support it.

which cable and which software to install on your pc need it to read and possibly write the map to a bmw 120d e87 2006 163cv?
to read your ecu you need, as a minimum, a galletto v48 with its sw or a kess again with your sw, you should have a bosch edc16c35, on these you can also do the reading in the BDM at the tour (what is recommended).
p.s. if you do not have the equipment and experience (something that I seem to understand) my advice and having someone who knows what to do

My wish is to only read the map and then show it to an expert,because I doubt that it is already mapped since the car has the dpf but I never had any problems and even felt the regenerations in three years. I can indicate the link to buy the galletto suitable? Thanks a lot
