    serial reading obd with lpg ecu installed

    good morning to all.
    I would like to try a reading from serial port with kess to an astra H 1.6 85 kw, which, however, mounts the lpg-system.

    I have not seen it but I suppose the mountains are a simens simtec 75

    in my almost total inexperience I suppose I have to exclude the unit gas and, knowing that many plants to keep off the mil pull a cable to a pin obd (usually 7), I'm thinking if you cut that, too.

    remove the connector to the ecu lpg I think it is necessary (but if you tell me otherwise I leave) the wire to the obd, if he were present, I suppose I could also leave it as it would be interrupted already by unplugging the connector.

    that I suggested?

    I need to do this reading because the car is too good... but I have a dtc of timing, and the pulleys of the variable-phase you can see they have been moved from the factory location on the cone. in addition today from the diagnosis, I did not see to work the drives. I'm assuming so it requires a remapping and I would like to test it.
    the car goes very well, the only hassle is the lamp mil lights up, giving me precisely the phase error

    The Opel Astra H if and as you say fitted with a Siemens Simtec 75 115hp has a Flash 29F400 you can both read from Socket is in the Boot Mode..
    I don't see the reason to unplug the ECU of the LPG, or the cable on the OBD usually when the interferer does not take even the diagnosis..
    but then why don't you try to read it??

    as it says in cinqueturbo, try to read it without getting too many films as you have to do, at most there can, in each case prior to rimapparla you should sincerarti that everything functions well in the management, control drives in the first place, otherwise, nullify the whole.

    First of all, thanks Cinqueturbo and Ugoboss for the tips.
    Honestly I have not tried the read only for a matter of time. the car does not have from me and yesterday I had just an hour that we used for the diagnosis and road test with reading/recording parameters.

    I assumed that the ecu lpg to interfere, and I could still get a reading, but with a false-positive result than those in the flash... then it was all a movie my

    The machine I repeat that it is very good (even if it seems to me, with very little spring torque), then I'm not interested in rimapparla (maybe we'll see if there will be a way to eliminate that annoying mil), but only to understand if it already has a modified map that excludes the function of the changers in advance and allows you to do the 210 Km/h (reported by the owner ).

    If not today in the late afternoon, as soon as possible I will do this reading, and certainly the burden on these pages.

    and would check if the step was ok, the actuator of the variable valve timing.. "sludge"

    thanks for the pasienza this but unfortunately the type the pulls for long... after many references to yesterday tells me that it will be between about ten days.

    in the meantime, I'll give you a further overview of the situation

    Exclude out-of-phase of even a single tooth on one or the other bank.
    The disassembly, put at tdc, the references camshafts were out of over a tooth and the torcs that fasten the pulleys were ruined.
    Definitely have been moved from the original location. the old belt, 160000 Km and 11 years of life was quite elongated. the first attempt I did leading in phase the original references (which, however, did not coincide ever to perfection in no tooth) and the car would be on fire, to toil with all the other symptoms of the fuorifase.
    redone the work putting on the references that I had made (such as by timing the previous disassembly) the car is the game turning out very well.
    the next day the owner calls me by referring spy service turned on (not mil), and actually I find errors relating to the timing on both cylinder banks, and intermittent, but they are not deleted, not even for a power-up.
    We went to test it with delphi connected, to look at the parameters (also done in the flight recorder), and never a movement of the timing.
    I was not able to induviduare, or, more likely, with my tool, I don't have the request parameter for the implementation of the drives.

    I'm almost certain the dtc was present even before, and now with the belt that tot shorter anticipates that a little over to turn on the light service.
    Surely there is a slight out-of-phase, but it may be wanted. Not in the mountains adiruttra trees slightly profiled.

    For this I would like to have a map reading and be able to do a comparison with gold.

    I'm attaching the screen with the registration to the flight of some of the parameters. and I keep updated as news

    I'm sorry but I have to update with the latest news that after the quarrel, happened with the "friend" the owner of the car is not excluded that I will read to the ecu... I'm sorry because the curiosity for me was strong and I would have gladly posted the file, seen as it was fine the drive.
