Size backup file fiat edc16c39 bravo II 1.6 120cv €5

Hello, I made a backup of an edc16c39 with the ktag and at the end appeared error the checksum, I have given send and the sw indicated file to be read correctly. Then I read flash and eprom and all, set no error and the size of the flash correct.
Checking, however, the size of the backup I read 650kb, in the past I read another edc16c39 a 1.9 always fiat for testatare the ktag is the size was lower (526kb)... Doing a quick search on the forum I have not found many of the backup and the only a 1.6 fiat has a smaller size(545kb) to my but also the eprom on the downloaded file is 4kb, while in the one I read is 8kb.

Now I would like to understand if mine is just paranoia and it actually is correct to read backup files of different sizes, or is there something not going as it should. And while we are I would like to understand what is contained inside the backup file once and for all.
I am attaching the file backup bed.

    Thanks

    I don't have the KTag, but my tools i read the EDC16C39 Flash M58BW016cB 2,048 Kb E2Prom 4Kb
the Backup and a file with Flash and E2Prom Compressed "as" a rar file..

if you write a Backup inside a ECU the tool unpacks and writes Flash & the E2Prom..
so it takes more to save the reading..
if you need to work on the Flash and it is better to read the files separately..

    another example
    EDC16C8 Flash 29BL802C 1,024 Kb E2Prom 4Kb MPC555/6 452Kb Backup 343Kb

    another example
    MJD6F3 Flash M58BW016xB 2,048 Kb E2Prom 4Kb MPC563/4 516Kb Backup 290Kb

    another example
MJD6JF MPC555/6, which in this case contains the management engine 452Kb E2Prom 4Kb

    another example
    EDC16C34 Flash M58BW016XB 2,048 Kb E2Prom 8Kb

    another example
    EDC16C9 Flash 29BL802C 1,024 Kb E2Prom 4Kb MPC555/6 452Kb Backup 441Kb

Thank you, I imagined it was a kind of a zipped set but it was just my hypothesis, a confirmation removes every doubt.

Regarding the backup, usually when I bench I do a backup first and then I read specifically what I'm interested in. Perhaps the account is right because the flash has the correct size and the file is compared to the amount of the original the following. Probably seen that the eprom read is 8kb it is normal that the backup has a weight greater than that previously read by me or found on the forum that have a lower content in the eprom.
More than anything I had paranoia for that error the checksum that I never had, and once you open the flash with winols told me error the checksum to be correct. That actually happened to me also with other files, but the car will hardly start with a problem like this but the whole things had me suspicious.
Mah is a machine this is a strange... it was from more people with original instruments and not by obd no one was able to enter.

Thank you again cinqueturbo for the speed in answering.

these types of ecu do not read by obd, already tried, the fact that you gave the error cks may have been caused by the fact that the flash and modified, the ktag does it', with regards to the size of the backup can vary from one reading to another.

You are right ugoboss the file inside had already been modified previously. Good to know that it can vary from one reading to the other, the volume of the backup.

For the type of ecu do you mean? Because I another edc16c39 always on a bravo II 1.6 120 €5 I was able to read it (with the cockerel v54), but it had never been touched previously while always edc16c39 but on bravoII 1.9 120cv €4 which has already been modified I was able to read it with kess. I have not checked to see if maybe change the type of flash between the ecu and the other, control as soon as I have a moment of time.
