rev limiter edc17cp04

Hi all, I'm avventurando just on the ecu, I'd like to be able to try the rev limit on a BMW 1 series 120d fitted with a edc17cp04 can you give me some tips? I have read several discussions but also if them for them it seems easy when you are in 2d out of the driver I can not see the engine rpm... in the sense that in 2D once you have identified the curve of the imitator, I find the ramp, but being out of the driver does not see the rpm how can I do ? you follow step-by-step up to the realization ? thanks in advance to all

Hello!first, you should post the details of your ECU,otherwise it will be difficult for those who want to lend a hand,then I read your post on another discussion and I can tell you that the proceedings on the edc15 for the classic popkorn is completely different from your ECU so be careful how you move.as far as the rides on the edc15 find them before the map lim.pair,and are displayed in the upper right corner of the case specific places to 5200.

In edc17 laps need to be converted with the conversion factor for this you do not see them in the clear like in edc15-16..
Also that the ecu is not port a only lim torque but different..
And I doubt that the method of the cutting axis rpm to work properly..
Would try..
In the case with lim torque it sizzles you can try to set the rev limiter drivers wish..

In the meantime, thanks so much for the responses... I have to say that I don't know much about conversion factors where can I find the tables if they exist? Except for now, on the edc 17 that I would be available as a guinea pig if you place the file ori you can guide me in the implementation ? The file ori and I have to post in the appropriate section right here is no good?

Check in the database that your file is not already present if not, there is loads of them and attach the link here in the tread..
If you just post the link of the file here..
For the conversion factors to find them in the damos in winols..

once you open the map within the torque limiter and I go in 2d and scrolling to the left I am a cake and a ramp that starts at the address 05822E but I do not have the conversion factors I do not understand the turns and then as you said, should have other limiters that do not know

I have not abandoned the quiet...
then 058044 you have the axis of the first lim of the couple and to change as in the guides related to the edc15..
the axis ends at 058068 where to see it written 9000 in reality, you have to divide the value of x2 in such a way that

another axis lim torque and relative limiter is in 0580AA the lim couple starts 0580D4 and a 21x1..
another still is in 058232(axis) and 05825c lim torque 21x1..
there are many other spri for the files, however, trying to properly set up these 3 then see what happens..

Thank you so much for the clarification, for me, very important... then I arrived at the first bp 7800 that I increased to 8000 as it says in the guide edc15 i.e. 4000rpm if I'm not mistaken ;
then I went to the bp next which was 8400 and I took it to the 8010 then I went into the table and by 4000 rpm, then I have brought all the values to 0....you have been very clear but I am not sure I did it well, you place the file the rev-limiter I can't correct?( or did the same thing for all 3 controls which I have indicated).
